What is the nicest thing someone has ever done for you?

On the anniversary of the death of my mom a coworker left me a sympathy card on my desk that read:
Remember -
the care she gave you, the laughter she created, how she inspired you, why you admired her, and most importantly, remember how she loved you.
It was the quietest and kindest gesture anyone has made since mom died and I will always remember it.
OK, I know that militant activists of any kind are annoying. I know that talking about cancer makes people uncomfortable. I know that we have grown numb to sad stories. But this weekend I also got to know Jack.
On October 24-25, 2008, I will be riding 45 miles in the LIVESTRONG Challenge. I will be riding for those like Jack who are fighting cancer and for those like Mom who lost their battle. If you would like to donate to my ride please see my LIVESTRONG page.
If you knew you were about to lose your voice permanently, what is the last thing you would want to say?

I would want to record myself reading "Goodnight Moon" so that my future children can be read to sleep by their mom - just like I was.
What's on your "To-Do" list today? What are you most looking forward to and what are you most dreading?
Thankfully the majority of my "to-do" list is checked off for the day but there are the remaining fun things (I won't bore anyone with the mundane work list)...
1. pick a cafe to go to for wine and a nosh with my wonderful husband
2. decide on a movie to see after the good food
3. come home and relax!!!
4. tomorrow - either go to Nebraska for a wedding or sleep in...still on the fence.
What is your deepest, darkest fear?

"Witches of Eastwick" instilled a deep fear in me of revealing my fears. To be fair, though, they didn't have to admit their fears because good old Jack just knew...being the devil and all. Anyway, I still think it's inviting something bad to put it into writing...Not only do I have a deep dark fear, but I'm also superstitious.
Wrong version! - it's not Ella Fitzgerald, it's the Etta James version read more
